Ricky Ashworth completed a dream in 2009 by winning the 2009 Premier League Rider's Championship on his home track, Owlerton, Sheffield. Ricky's tenacious racing attitude and never-give-up riding skill, produced a solid performance against some very hard competition.

His role in the Sheffield team is an important one, and his 2009 performances have led his team mates to raise their levels for 2010!

An extremely exciting rider to watch and enjoy week-in and week-out!

Had a great night, with the team heading slowly toward the playoffs. Sadly an engine failure screwed me in the last heat, but 10+1 was good enough for the win!
